After reading your concept for the project, I can definitely see your idea coming through with every layer kind of blending in and fading into each other. Some areas look like they're deteriorating which reminds me of things dying and coming to an end. I like how you're keeping it colorful though, so right now it doesn't look morbid which is what usually comes to mind when you think of death/life cycles. Nice job!
I really enjoy some the blending happening in this image. Some nice effects, though I am not sure I get the feel of decay. I know this is early stage, so I am sure that your idea will come out more as you work more.
Your image is coming together well, and I get a great sense of life. However, I do not get the feeling of decay and death yet, but like mentioned before me, I'm sure you have plans to add it in since this is an early stage.
You have some great images to work with, and I can see the transitions starting to come to life. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
I think you did a great job with the layers here. I like how you have multiple perspectives that you would never see in real life but it still almost seems real.
Good start. Not sure your present image is doing what you said you wanted to do. Is that Aaron? Super nice guy and great artist, but not sure he presently merits the attention you are giving him. Maybe he could with some blending modes, inverted image, etc. but right now he seems to be smiling at the camera as if it is a snapshop--body language wise. The linear streaks in the cloud seem odd-- no precedent but very dominant. I wonder if the image were copied and flopped on the other side--sort of a before and after-- that might show contrast between old/new life/death, etc. great process, nice start.
