Project 3 Statement
My plan to communicate the idea of 'The Cyclical Nature of Things' involves using the numerous photos I took of nature (Linville Falls). By using many different overlays, filters, and masks, I want to convey the message that all things living will one day die, completing their life cycle. I tried to get an array of both vibrant, living things and things in the process of dying or are already deceased, allowing for a variety of photos to pick from.

ReplyDeleteThe challenge is elevating the landscape to the level of fine art. Metaphor is a good direction. If there were a central image you have taken that could suggest life (or death for that matter) what would it be? What is the focal point of your idea? Could it be symbolized? Nice images, good start.
